my ANZAC cookies

Mum and i made the ANZAC cookies together.
mum had to drive to lots of shops to find coconut for us to make the cookies.
we got all the ingredients out and put on the bench.
i measured the ingredients into the bowl using out measuring cups and the scales.
i was allowed to mix the ingredients together.
i then rolled them into balls and put them on the tray and flattened them out.
i put them in the oven for 10minutes.
Mum pulled them out of the oven and i helped put them on the colling rack.
Mum let me try them when it cooled down.
It was yummy and chewy. I liked the cookies  we made and want to make them again.

  1. Well done Karli! Those ANZAC biscuits look really yummy. You've written out the instructions really well. Do you think next time you could write numbered steps? It's great that you've completed this work and I'm really looking forward to seeing some more of your work.

  2. Tino pai, Karli! Your Anzac biscuits got your thumbs up. They must have been very yummy. I wonder whether so many families were making Anzac biscuits that so many shops ran out of coconut? You must have done great measuring of the ingredients. Well done! Did you enjoy making the biscuits?

  4. Hi Ella,
Delicious looking biscuits, I hope you enjoyed eating them. I'm pleased you measured/weighed the ingredients, following the recipe is very important. Poor Mum having to drive around different shops to find ingredients that she needed. I had trouble getting flour a few weeks ago when I made my Anzac biscuits. Luckily the supermarkets have most things now.

  5. Hi Karli, great job on the ANZAC biscuits! They do look delicious. Sometimes baking doesn't work out that well, especially if you don't follow the recipe. You must have followed it really well.
    What will you cook next?
